I bought the Glider Explorer for daily use, and it’s been fantastic. It’s really sturdy and handles rough terrain like gravel and grass without any issues. The battery lasts all day, and the ride is super smooth and comfortable. I feel safe, supported, and much more independent now.

Glider Mobility provided a wheelchair which was exactly as advertised. Lightweight, strong and maneuverable. It looks elegant and folds for the car boot.

Delivered quickly, however, when I took it for a trial run, the speed control broke. I phoned the company right away and received a new control within a couple of days. Well done. It was my fault which I did mention to them still didn't charge me.

After weeks of researching I landed on the Glider Explorer, great design and portable, has enough power to go over gravel and grass and has allowed me to go back into parks and trails, cannot be more happy.

Delivered on time, had some issue with assembly however the support team replied back to my email within 2 mins, all sorted now. Would highly recommend this company.

I bought this as a wheelchair to travel with as I do fly a lot it’s absolutely perfect. It’s not heavy very portable battery is removable and can easily be stored in the aeroplane.

The Air Rider has made getting out and about so much more enjoyable. It’s compact enough to fit in tight spaces, but still feels really sturdy and comfortable when I’m on it. What I love most is how smoothly it rides—no jolts or rattles, even on uneven paths. I’ve used it for everything from local shopping to countryside paths, and it hasn’t let me down. The battery life is great, and the fold-down design makes it so easy to take with me on road trips. I feel a lot more independent with it—and it’s even kind of fun to ride!

Having the carer control feature on our wheelchair has changed the way we get out and about as a family. My partner now has full control over the chair without having to physically push it, which makes navigating crowded spaces, tight shops, or inclines much easier. It’s intuitive to use, and they can steer and stop the chair with precision—even in busy areas.

What’s really great is how much more relaxed we both are when we’re out. I can sit back and enjoy the ride, knowing they have full, effortless control. For them, it’s less physically demanding and much easier to guide the chair without strain. It’s made our outings smoother, safer, and honestly more enjoyable for both of us.

I was hesitant about getting a hoist at first, but I can’t imagine going without it now. The model I have comes with a remote, which makes things so much easier. I simply press a button, and it gently lifts and lowers my wheelchair into the car boot—no strain, no awkward lifting. It’s smooth, reliable, and has taken all the physical stress out of loading the chair.

What makes the biggest difference is how much more independent it’s made me. I don’t need someone to help every time I go out. The hoist is compact and fits neatly in the car, and the remote control means I don’t have to lean in or reach awkwardly. I now feel confident going out more often, knowing I can manage things on my own. It’s honestly one of the best practical tools I’ve added to my routine.
